General Description
The project is part of the revitalization of the non-motorized mobility corridor along the Someș River, Zone 3 – Sports Hall Plateau, aiming to modernize and expand the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure.
The plateau serves the “Horia Demian” Sports Hall and the UTCN Swimming Complex, being located on the right bank of the Someșul Mic River, near Cluj Arena and Central Park.
The project transforms a space previously used as a parking lot into a modern and accessible urban plateau, integrated into the city’s non-motorized mobility network. It promotes:
- sustainable mobility,
- spaces for relaxation and social interaction,
- the organization of cultural and sports events.
Location
Location: within the city limits of Cluj-Napoca, on the right bank of the Someșul Mic River, in the “Horia Demian” Sports Hall area.
