General Description
The rehabilitation project aimed to revitalize Ion Luca Caragiale Park and its adjacent areas, focusing on uncovering the Canalul Morii, redesigning walkways, and modernizing streets. The interventions included Octavian Petrovici Street, reconfigured as a shared-space area, along with sidewalks, pedestrian paths, and a bicycle lane.
Location
Ion Luca Caragiale Park and Octavian Petrovici Street are located in Cluj-Napoca, within the city’s second medieval enclosure, classified as a historical monument (CJ-II-A-07242). The area is part of the historic center of the city, overlapping the old medieval fortification.
