General Description
According to the traffic study and the beneficiary's indications, there are peak hours in the analyzed area that lead to an increase in the number of accidents, making it a high-risk area. It is crossed by heavy traffic from B-dul Muncii – Str. Oașului – Gară – Baciu exit. Pedestrians crossing the road fragment traffic, and public transport runs on the same lane as other vehicles, which causes frequent traffic jams.
Location
The site is located on the outskirts of Cluj-Napoca, in the Iris neighborhood, near the Auchan hypermarket, on Oașului Street – Muncii Boulevard. The main mobility section is 444 m long.
