General Description
The project aimed to create a road, pedestrian, and bicycle connection between Oașului/Decebal streets and Parcul Feroviarilor/Răsăritului streets through the construction of a new bridge over the Someșul Mic River.
The bridge is designed with four traffic lanes, two sidewalks, and two bicycle lanes, ensuring connectivity between key areas of the city.
Location
The site is located within the city limits of Cluj-Napoca, in the central area of Cluj County, on the banks of the Someșul Mic River. The area studied in the project includes the intersection of Oașului and Decebal streets with Traian Street, as well as the Parcul Feroviarilor Street area up to its intersection with Răsăritului Street, between the existing metal pedestrian bridge and the railway overpass crossing Oașului Street and the Someșul Mic River.
